Amy has over a decade of strategic communications experience at some of the top independent public relations agencies in the country, including OLSON Engage in Chicago and Los Angeles, and Dan Klores Communcations (DKC) in New York.
Prior to starting her own PR and Communications consultancy, Amy was a Director at OLSON Engage where she led strategic programming for top-performing consumer brands including Wrigley (Orbit gum, Extra gum, Juicy Fruit gum), SkinnyPop, Quaker, Old Navy, Kayak.com, Naked Juice, TiVo, and others. To build brand reputation and drive awareness for her clients, she designed strategic PR programming, leading media strategy and outreach, influencer and celebrity partnerships, event planning and execution, social media marketing, and reputation management, including thought leadership, strategy, crisis management and consulting. Throughout her agency work, she managed cross-discipline, interagency teams and internal agency team development and mentoring and hiring initiatives.
Before joining OLSON Engage, Amy developed programming at Dan Klores Communications (DKC) in New York City, where she managed lifestyle and hospitality clients including Peroni, Dylan’s Candy Bar and Dylan Lauren, Gen Art, FTD.com, Hotel Victor and Sagamore Hotel in Miami. She oversaw client participation and celebrity attendance at high-profile events such as New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks, South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and The New York Stock Exchange, in addition to red carpets and product launch events.
Prior to DKC, she managed Kate Spade’s flagship retail store in New York’s Soho neighborhood, developing a roster of personal clients and managing in-store PR and event logistics.
Amy lives in Chicago with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she loves to travel (currently at 21 countries visited), discover new breweries and wineries, shop for vintage clothing and antiques, and hosting family and friends in her home.
